You gotta give it to Valentina Monetta! The San Marino representative at the Eurovision Song Contest edition of 2012 and 2013 has today been announced to represent her country for the third time in a row, at the upcoming 2014 Eurovision contest.
The singer confirmed today that she came to an agreement with the San Marino broadcaster to go to the event for a third time. The singer who represented her country with ‘Crisalide (Vola)’ finished just outside the top ten semi finalists, thus not qualifying for the grand final, which was held just over a month ago in Malmo, Sweden.
The producer responsible for her 2012-13 entries, Ralph Siegel, has also confirmed he’s involved in the 2014 team. With preparations only just started and very little detail known about the 2014 contest, it remains to be seen what the title of the song is and what we can expect of it.
